Mission Statement
Wonders
of the Wild Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of injured and
orphaned wildlife, as well as the care of domestic and exotic animals rescued from desperate situations.
Each year
our team successfully releases as many as 100 species of native wildlife, including mammals, songbirds, raptors, waterfowl,
reptiles and amphibians. If we find a more appropriate housing situation for that animal then they are placed in another facility
that specializes in that particular species.
Educational outreach is an important part of who we are. We strive
to teach others about the importance of respecting wildlife, preserving habitats, and strengthening our Southwestern ecosystem.
As
a non-profit, we are completely funded by our volunteers and by generous individuals such as yourself. If you would like to
contribute to our cause, we thank you whole-heartedly. The wildlife thanks you as well.
